It will be required of all customers to use half the capacity of all existing tanks or receive a $50.00 yearly fee for not meeting this requirement each year. If a property has multiple tanks in separate locations each tank will have to meet the minimum usage for the year, or a fee will be assessed per tank.

Example: 25-gallon tank minimum usage is 12.5 gallons a year, 50-gallon tank minimum usage is 25 gallons a year, 100-gallon tank minimum usage is 50 gallons a year.

It will not matter what a tank is being used for i.e., generator, cooking, fireplace, hot water, heat pump etc. all tanks will fall under the minimum usage requirements.
